It never ceases to amaze me how quickly time flies when I am doing a show, and the weeks seem to fly by so quickly !

This week I read more from the list of ’30 things not to do to yourself’ from the Marc and Angel website which seems to be proving very popular and music this week came from the dynamic Suzi Quatro, last weeks featured artistes Soul Grenade, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Mud, Sparks, Bay City Rollers, David Cassidy, Peter Skellern, Split Enz, Cockney Rebel, Alestorm and Adam Ant.

Lady Starduzts Wall of Sound 18th February 2012

 

Todays show was so much fun to do !  Always lovely to have a guest on ! The Wall of Sound took on a bit of a girl power theme this morning as I welcomed Heather McLean vocalist from Brighton based band Soul Grenade into the studio. As well as tracks from Heathers band other female artists included Suzi Quatro, Martha and The Muffins and erm, well , me ! Other bands featured were Cream, The Who, The Sweet and Slade.

Since my ‘Wall of Sound begun, I have always tried to include things that inspire me,  be it music, or the written word. Today I took inspiration from a marvellous website called Marc and Angel, who produce ’30 things’ lists which I have shared with many in the past, all who found them to be as inspiring as I did.
