Its been a hectic week in terms of the radio show. Studio manager Susi Oddball celebrated her birthday week in style with a marvellous post Robert Burns night bash complete with vegetarian haggis, poetry reading and live music down at the studio. Its always great to get together with other presenters and studio managers as some of us are a bit like ships in the night, so nice to touch base.

I have also been getting to grips with my new role as strategic director and have been bowled over by the support and well wishes from my BHCR colleagues.

This weeks show was well and truly supported by you lovely listeners, many had suggested songs for the playlist and the feedback I recieved whilst on air was amazing, so a big thanks to you all.

Todays playlist included amongst others :- Poison, New Model Army, T.Rex, Rod Stewart, and a quirky little duet from Iggy Pop and Debbie Harry that I never tire of listening to !
